Genuine OEM Bosch dishwasher door spring and cable kit. Applies tension to the dishwasher door through the door hinge to prevent the door from dropping too quickly when opened. If your Bosch, Thermador, or Gaggenau dishwasher door falls too fast, slams down, or won't stay open at the right angle, this kit is the fix.

INSTALLATION

Disconnect power before starting. Pull dishwasher out from under counter (remove 2 mounting screws from inside door top). Disconnect water and drain lines. Open door and use pliers to pull cable retainer off its hook on the door. Pull cable out of housing clamp and remove old spring. Connect new spring to new cable, insert into housing, then re-hook cable retainer on door with pliers. Repeat for other side. Reassemble and test. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver, 5/8" wrench, 5/16" nut driver, pliers.
